The first Naruto Storm was initially released back in 2008 exclusively on the PlayStation 3. However, after almost a decade, the game would come to other platforms. Surprisingly, the game runs very well on a low-end PC. The second game will run decently as well, but the third and the fourth one will need a decent PC to perform well. Or, at least stay at constant 60 frames per second.
Naruto Storm is a fighting game where you control Naruto through his quest to become Hokage. Naruto’s ambition will be filled with deadly foes who’ll use their utmost power to finish him off, but he’s already equipped with a few ninja moves under his belt.
I’m pretty confident that Ninja Storm is one of the best games that’ll please die-hard fans, and also those looking for a fun-to-play anime game.
Tales of Symphonia

Tales of Symphonia is an action-role-playing video game that is part of the critically acclaimed Tales franchise. The aforementioned features an engaging battle system that will leave you on the edge of your seat blown away. It is pretty surprising for a game that was initially released back in 2003. The art style is neat, the story is interesting, the character model is kind of cute, and the atmosphere is just superb. The best thing is that this game will run nicely on your computer without any problems at all.

Persona 4 Golden

Atlus is known for making some of the best games, including the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, Digital Devil Saga, and other niche titles. Persona, on the one hand, appealed to a large audience unlike SMT for instance. Persona 4 Golden was a success when it landed on PC for the first time. As a result, Sega has plans to port old and new titles on Steam in the future. We can only hope that Persona 5 does come to PC, and of course, run on a potato PC.
Persona 4 Golden is a turn-based JRPG that originally came out on the PS2 and was later ported to the PS Vita then PC. You take on the role of Yu Narukami, a high-school student who is tasked with investigating mysterious incidents that are happening in the TV world. These incidents, while occurring in a completely fictional world, they do affect the real-life world of Persona 4. Yu Narukami along with his friends will embark on a golden adventure to defeat creatures known as shadows and discover mysteries one after another.
While Persona 4 Golden contains the same aspects of any turn-based title, it includes the ability to socialize with NPCs, create bonds, go on dates, customize your character’s outfit, and more. The game is fun, and the best thing? it works on a roasted potato.

For those who are into catgirls, or widely known as Nyan girls, Nekopara got you covered, fam. It’s an adult visual novel video game that is based on the anime series of the same name.
The story is silly, and shouldn’t be taken seriously. It is set in a world where humans are living alongside catgirls known by the name of ” Nekos’ and are able to keep them as pets.
There are 4 volumes of NEKOPARA that can be downloaded from Steam, and of course, the game runs on low-end computers.
No More Heroes

I have had my eyes on No More Heroes for a very long time, especially after finishing Killer is Dead. Now after the game is on PC, more and more people will get to experience one of Suda 51’s best games.
While No More Heroes’ gameplay may remind some of Devil May Cry, they’re both different. No More Heroes doesn’t contain any combo style or the ability to lift your enemies in the air and change your weapons. Instead, it has a hacking and slashing system that nudges you to stay focused on the screen. For instance, you’ll be confronting foes, but suddenly an icon will show up where you have to touch a button to slice your enemies to pieces.
The story of No More Heroes isn’t to be taken seriously because most Suda games are like that. However, if you are into games such as Lolipop Chainsaw or Bayonetta, this game is definitely for you. Oh, and one thing, this is a remaster of the original Wii game, and it runs great on a low-end PC with some minor sound glitches here and there.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Experience the adventures of Goku like never before with this astounding open-world role-playing video game that takes inspiration from several Dragon Ball titles like Dragon Ball Z Sagas and Ultimate Budokai Tenkaichi. The gameplay is smooth, the graphics are superb, the soundtracks are memorable, and what you can do in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is more than enough to suck you into the game for hours.

When it comes to great anime games, CyberConnect2 doesn’t disappoint. Dot Hack//G.U Last Recode is a remastered collection of the three games that were initially released on the PS2, including Rebirth, Reminisce, Redemption. The collection includes several improvements which are not available on the PS2 titles. Such as a resolution of up to 4K and 60 frames per second for PC, high-resolution movies, and highly detailed backgrounds, as well as, game system evolutions.
.Hack//G.U casts you in the role of Haseo inside a fictional online game as he seeks revenge on ” Tri-Edge “, the responsible character for killing his friend Shino within the game. Killing her in-game has caused her to go into a coma in real life along with other victims as well. Haseo takes it upon his shoulder to hunt down Tri-Edge and finish him off.
The gameplay is unique, and you’ll have a hard time finding something similar to the franchise. Dot Hack//G.U is a good underrated game that will run on your potato PC without any problems.
Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch

Level-5 is often known for its incredible JPRGs like Yokai Watch, Dark Cloud, Inazuma Eleven, and Rogue Galaxy. Adding to the plate, Level-5 has developed one artistic game that is massively praised for its art style and engaging atmosphere.
Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White is part of the critically acclaimed Ni no Kuni franchise. The ghibli-like art style and animation make this game stand out from other JRPGs. While it’s true the gameplay may resemble Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, it remains a unique journey that any JRPG fan should experience.
The good news is that it runs on a potato PC. Not at 60FPS all the time, but since this is somewhat similar to a turn-based game, 30 frames per second will suffice if you are okay with it.

In my opinion, the gameplay is pretty similar to Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem since they can be easily classified as SRPGs (Strategy Role Playing Games). I guess if you’re looking for a good SRPG game for your low-end computer, the Disgaea franchise is a great choice.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel

While this entry may play similar to Persona titles, it has a unique battle system called the Combat Link System. Basically, the system was designed for commands in fights to be selected quickly. This system proves to be useful as you progress further in the game.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is a great game if you’re looking for something that will run on your low-end PC. The sequel may run, but not so smoothly though. That depends on your hardware after all.
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc

If you’re a fan of Dangaronpa anime or manga, you will surely find yourself at home. That is not to say that newcomers won’t enjoy it. In fact, even newcomers can enjoy their time with Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.
Without spoiling the story further, I can say Danganronpa is a highly recommended choice if you’re looking for an anime game that would run on your low-end PC.

Ever wanted to play something that felt similar to the Shin Megami Tensei franchise? Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth has some of that. The aforementioned is a turn-based game played from a third-person perspective.
In the beginning, the player starts with weak Digimon, but later on, he can recruit new powerful creatures that will be very helpful throughout the game. The game is fun, and if you’re a fan of Digimon, that’s a plus too. The game runs pretty well on Intel HD graphics cards, so your low-end Nvidia/AMD card shouldn’t be an issue.

Next on the list with an anime game that you probably didn’t know existed to this day. Blood Will Tell ( or known as Dororo in Japan) is a hack and slash anime game based on the original manga and anime that aired back in 1967.
Similar to the source material, you play as Hyakkimaru who is on a mission to retrieve the body parts that were stolen from him by the fiends when he was a baby. Hyakki is not alone, Dororo got his back too. What’s great about Blood Will Tell is that you get to play as Dororo in some parts of the game as well.
While it’s unlikely that Sega may consider bringing back the title, you can play the game using a PS2 emulator. It runs fine on a low-end computer with minor tweaks here and there.
