After a few delays, Blue Box Game Studios has managed to get Abandon's Realtime Experience up on the PlayStation Store. The download clocks in at around 2GB, although there's not much to experience beyond the Introduction trailer we've already seen.
You might have to restart your PS5 console to get the Realtime Experience to download properly, as the team needed to issue a few patches for the software to properly work on PSN. The software has several thumbnails that are currently unavailable, although you'll be able to view the Introduction clip Blue Box Game Studios shared back on August 10.
The short video ends by saying a playable prologue is coming soon.
"The patch is now live," Blue Box Game Studios announced. "Please check the update availability on your console." It also says the update consists of the following:
- Access to the app
- A short introduction teaser for the app along with its announcements.
Originally slated to go live on August 10, the team ran into a few graphical issues that prevented it from hitting the original target. Fans have been eagerly waiting for this mysterious Realtime Experience to become available, although it's unclear when – or if – more content will be added to it.
"We are excited to kick off the realtime experience app with a small introduction," reads a statement in the Realtime Experience app. "The cinematic reveal and gameplay demonstration will be revealed soon! You can find the cinematic reveal and gameplay demo as a video online or rendered in realtime using this app."
As it stands, nothing new appears to have been revealed by the Realtime Experience.
