The narrative thriller Hitchcock: Vertigo is coming to PC later this year and consoles next year. Now we have a first look at the game’s story thanks to a new trailer.

Microids has released a new trailer for Pendulo Studios’ game, Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo. It’s a game that we had mentioned before on Game Freaks 365, which is loosely based on the namesake film and introduces the thriller’s major protagonists.

A sneak peek

Learn about the characters’ motivations and relationships at the heart of this novel narrative experience in which confusion and doubt play an important part. This new narrative trailer, created completely from in-game video, introduces the writer Ed Miller, a car accident victim suffering from severe vertigo.

Ed begins treatment, convinced that he has just lost his wife and children in the disaster, and hesitantly begins confiding in a psychiatrist: doctor Julia Lomas. Julia will have to overcome Ed’s reluctance to delve deep into his memories and uncover the underlying truth. Players will also be able to follow the sheriff’s investigation in Cerro Lake as he attempts to solve this mystery.

Alfred Hitchcock: Vertigo invites you to learn more about this dizzy condition and its history. The game is a real introspective experience that will test the players’ sanity. The game is coming to PC on December 16th. The game will be released in 2022 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch consoles.
