Goddess Walls are located in pretty much every area and every dungeon, but if you waste your opportunity to use them, you'll end up getting some sub-par results. In order to get exactly what you need at any given time, follow the instructions in the guide below. This is how you can use every Goddess Wall you find as effectively as possible.

How To Find Goddess Walls

Goddess Walls are marked in exactly the same way as Sheikah Stones – they'll have three Blessed Butterflies surrounding them. Approach and play a melody on your Goddess Harp, and you'll be treated either with a Sheikah Stone, or a Goddess Wall. Sheikah Stones could be anywhere, but Goddess Walls are – obviously – only found next to walls.

If you ever see three Goddess Butterflies, it's worth approaching and playing a melody, just in case. The butterflies don't need to be present, so you can catch them.

How To Use Goddess Walls

Goddess Walls, once they've appeared, can be activated by approaching the wall, and then pointing your sword into the air to charge it with a Skyward Strike. As long as you're close enough and your sword is glowing with energy, the drawing mode should begin.

Here you'll need to draw a symbol on the wall, and which symbol you choose greatly changes the rewards you get from this particular Goddess Wall. In order to draw you can use motion or button controls – just hold ZR and then begin tracing your symbol.

We have a complete list of valid symbols you can use below.

All Goddess Wall Symbols

In our table below you can find all of the symbols you can draw on the Goddess Walls in the game, and what rewards they'll give you.

Symbol How To Draw Reward
Draw a heart from either point 10 Hearts
Draw a complete circle – easy 15 Bombs
Start from the top point, and then trace the rest of the Triforce 3 Fairy
Draw a narrow hexagon, starting from either the top or bottom Rupee cluster
Start from the left and draw a thin line to the right, the slop either to the top or bottom and complete a triangle at the top for an arrowhead 15 Arrows
Start from the top, and trace around the rest of the hourglass shape 10 Hearts

In general, if you have a good supply of equipment, health, and have a Fairy ready sitting in a bottle, you probably won't need anything specific – so it's good to grab Rupees, since you'll get a nice bonus in your wallet, set to buy more upgrades and items.
