All Upcoming Video Game Releases This Week

Last week was terrific in terms of games, many amazing indie titles like Gleamlight, Spiritfarer, Mortal Shell (Check out our review of Mortal Shell here), Rogue Legacy 2, and some bigger titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator and Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time. But what about this week? There will be a lot of amazing indie games releasing this week, along with some great AAA titles.

Sense: A Cyberpunk Story

Sense: A Cyberpunk Story will be releasing on August 25th for PC, Mac, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS Vita (Yes, it’s still alive somehow), and PlayStation 4.

Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story is a 2.5D game which is inspired by Clock Tower and Fatal Frame the developers have paid a lot of attention to the atmosphere, storytelling, and pacing in Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story. Sense: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story will try to return the horror genre to its routes with the celebrating slow, fearful creep of dread paranormal threats, not monsters to be killed. The horror of Sense: A Cyberpunk comes from the atmosphere and storytelling, not loud sound and particle effects.

Sense: A Cyberpunk Story isn’t up for Pre Orders yet, but you should add it to your wish list if you are interested in it. Adding it to your wishlist will help the developers.

Street Power Soccer

Street Power Soccer is releasing on the same day as Sense: A Cyberpunk Story which is August 25th it will release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC

Many people have compared Street Power Soccer to FIFA Street since it features open-ended Freestyle. It also features six different game modes, which include Trick Shots, open-ended Freestyles, Head-to-Head competition in Panna, and up to 3v3 Matches in Street Power Mode. The Developers describe Street Power soccer as “You’ve never played football quite like this” on their official Steam Page.

Street Power Soccer will also feature the street football legend Sean Garnier, and you can face off with freestyle football greats on crazy playgrounds.
Street Power Soccer also features a soundtrack from Black Eyed Peas, DJ Snake, and Snap.

Freestyle players in the Street Power Socer include Liv Cooke, Melody Donchet, Soufiane Bencok, Daniel Got Hits, Raquel Benetti, and Andrew Henderson, and many more.

Street Power Soccer is already up for Pre Orders on Amazon, Steam, and Xbox Store.

No Straight Roads

No Straight Roads has a release date of August 25th too. It will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

No Straight Roads is an action-adventure game that is about starting your own rock band and ending the EDM Empire; No Straight Roads features a soundtrack from Wan Hazmer (Producer of Final Fantasy XV Soundtrack) and Daim Dziauddin (Producer of Street Fighter V) Sound Track.

In No Straight Roads, you will be able to explore Vinyl City and Fight Musical Megastars on your journey to defeat the oppressive EDM Empire in an action-packed adventure that combines together with the rhythm infused third-person combat and with an amazing soundtrack from the minds of Wan Hazmer and Daim Dziauddin.

No Straight Roads is already up for Pre Orders on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Epic Games Store.

Sheepo

Sheepo will release on August 26th for PC. Sheepo is only made by one person you can wishlist Sheepo on the official steam page

Sheepo is a Metroidvania platformer which will feature some type of shape-shifting sheep-thing which has to traverse on an Uncharted Planer to collect samples of every living species for intergalactic species database.

Sheepo is a Metroidvania, but it will not have any type of combat the gameplay is based only on Platforming and Exploration Sheepo will be able to dig, fly and travel across interconnected series of landscapes as he discovers hidden shrines, old ruins, and strange characters.

Tell Me Why

Tell Me Why is releasing on August 27th for Xbox One and PC it is published by Xbox Game Studios and developed by DOTNOD Entertainment (Studio behind Life is Strange).

Tell Me Why has been compared to Heavy Rain and Detroit Become: Human by many people Tell Me Why will release in 3 episodes.

In Tell Me Why people will be able to revisit parts of the old home with both twins and experience the separate visions and memories of what transpired with each twin having different recollections of what happened the player will have to make decisions for pair based on which version of the past events to believe it will impact the game’s outcomes.

Tell Me Why is up for pre-orders on Xbox One and Steam.

Disease Hidden Object

Disease Hidden Object is coming to PC (It’s already out on Nintendo Switch) on August 26th.

Disease Hidden Object is a horror adventure game which will allow the player to go back and forth in between multiple worlds which are the real world and the hallucination world the purpose of Disease Hidden Object is to find items and collect documents while solving different mysteries and finding out the truth of the abolished hospital.

Disease Hidden Object isn’t up for Pre Orders on Steam yet, but you can wishlist it or buy it on Nintendo Switch.

Surgeon Simulator 2

Surgeon Simulator 2 will release on August 28th for PC Via Epic Games Store only it’s a sequel to the famous Surgeon Simulator.

Surgeon Simulator 2 will feature Multiplayer co-op surgeries and a twisty story from Rhianna Pratchet, who has previously written Mirror’s Edge and Tomb Raider. It will also feature User Generated Levels via a new type of Labs Editor, which means Surgeon Simulator 2 has virtually endless gameplay.

Surgeon Simulator 2 also features amazing graphics powered by one of the most advanced physics engines, and it will have new characters and customizations which advance Dr. Burke’s Story and a dark Background.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is set to release on August 28th for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is an arcade football game which is based on the famous manga series of Captain Tsubasa it will bring a refreshing look to the football genre with the exhilarating action and over the top shots.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will feature 4 Player versus mode which will allow you to play with your friends offline it will also have an Online Mode in which you will be able to compete across several online modes to earn trophies and rewards
it also has two different story modes, including the events from the Captain Tsubasa Anime or an original story, which allows you to become a part of the world of Captain Tsubasa.

Wasteland 3

Wasteland 3 will release on August 28th along with Captain Tsubasa and Surgeon Simulator for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

Project CARS 3 will release on August 28th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Project CARS 3 will feature authentic motorsport and racing content, which fans have been expecting. Project CARS 3 has the biggest car roster in the franchise history there are also new tracks including places such as the home of Brazillian Grand Prix, Interlagos and the roads of Tuscany plus an exciting, fully-fledged career mode which will entice players based on a driver’s journey from a weekend warrior to a racing legend. Project CARS 3 will also feature new authentic car upgrades, customization, and personalization options for cars and drivers. Project CARS 3 will have improved assists for newcomers too.

Windbound is a survival game that is set to be released on August 28th for PC, Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Windbound is about being Shipwrecked on an Uncharted Island. You will have to explore, adapt, and navigate the land and perilous seas to stay alive.

As Kara( The Protagonist of Windbound), you are a warrior, caught at sea in a fierce storm, adrift from your tribe. Thrown from your boat, at the mercy of the turbulent waters, you are tossed on to the shores of the Forbidden Islands, a mysterious paradise.

Shing!

Shing! is a beat em up game which is set to be released on August 28th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC

Shing! will allow you to experience some of the most exciting and immersive beat em up combat system ever you can become a ninja and slice demons in style and transverse through the land of mythical monsters and mysterious machines.

Shing will also feature four players, local and online co-op.

Nexomon: Extinction

Nexomon is set to release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One.

Nexomon: Extinction is a Pokemon-like game that allows you to catch monsters. It will feature a complete story, eccentric characters, and over 300 unique Nexomon, which you can trap and tame. The world is on the brink of extinction as mighty Tyrant Nexoman fight for dominion over humans and monsters.
