AMD Radeon RX 7900XT Navi 31 RDNA 3 GPU Could Hit 92 TFLOPS of FP32

Rumors about AMD’s Navi31 RDNA3 GPU have been circulating since last year. Now, according to the tipster Greymon55 AMD’S upcoming Radeon RX 7900XT Navi 31 RDNA3 GPU could hit 92 TFLOPS of FP32 if it were to include a large amount of Ada-compatible headers and a 3D stacking solution.

This would mean that the Navi 31 GPU would have a total of 15360 shaders, which is over four times more than the Navi 21. It would also have 32GB of GDDR6 memory and 256 or 512 MB of Infinity Cache in 6nm.

The CPU would be clocked at 2.4-2.5 GHz stock and could achieve a peak performance of 75 TFLOPS of FP32, which is not too far off from the Navi 21.

Let me add more:
=5nm+6nm TSMC
=120WGP 15360SP
≈256bit 32G GDDR6 18Gbps?
≈256/512mb Infinity Cache?
=3D Infinity Cache
≈75T FP32?

This would mark a major improvement for AMD. Its new Navi31 RDNA3 GPU is expected to deliver up to 92 TFLOPS of FP32, which is a significant increase over the current flagship chip. The new chip will also feature increased clock speeds, which means it could eventually hit the 100 TFLOP mark.

According to Linux drivers, it appears that Compute Units still exist, and WGPs are still DualCUs. The big change is going back to 4x SIMD per CU like GCN, but now with RDNA’s 32 ALU design.

AMD’s new graphics card is unlikely to be a high-end GPU like NvidiaCrusher, but the company’s next-generation Navi31 RDNA3 GPU is expected to have 15360 stream processors and a clock speed of 3.2 GHz.

The new Navi 31 GPU could be the new flagship of the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series. AMD will launch its new flagship graphics card in the latter part of this year, and the Navi 31 is rumored to be one of the key parts of this new GPU. The RX 7900 XT class will also sport the Navi 31 GPU. AMD also plans to introduce an AD102 GPU in its next-generation graphics cards.
