A streamer managed to go from Apex Legends' bottom rank all the way to the very top in 54 hours without stopping, streaming the whole thing as they went.
Online ranks are a curse and a blessing. On the one hand, they allow you to directly compare yourself to the rest of the world and figure out just how good, or bad, you are at a particular game. On the other, the struggle to improve your rank and be nestled among a game's elite is real. You may spend hours making progress, only to return the following day to discover you're back where you started.
Streamer Timmy ‘iiTzTimmy’ An didn't allow for that to happen. An set themselves the daunting task of going from Apex Legends' bronze rank all the way up to Apex Predator in one sitting. You need to be among your region's 750 best players to be dubbed an Apex Predator. That's a tall order when you consider the game now has more than 100 million players.

An previously went from bronze to master rank in on 33-hour stream, achieving something great but also leaving themselves room to achieve something even better if they wanted to. That time has now arrived, and An has very much bettered their previous achievement. It took 54 hours, but the streamer has indeed managed to go from Apex Legends' bottom rank all the way to its best without stopping.
We say without stopping, An did take breaks to eat and use the bathroom, of course. No time for sleep though, which becomes very apparent as more time passes. An even had to dip out quickly at the 48-hour mark as Twitch rules dictate you can't stream continuously for longer than that. An returned for the final six hours though and managed to break the top 750 after more than two days of continuous play.
Despite getting sleepy, An's performance in-game never really dips. A necessity since the challenge to become an Apex Predator only became more intense as they inched their way up through the various ranks. What An will do next remains a mystery. Perhaps they will go on a quest to go from bronze to the number one ranked player in their region during a single stream. That might not be possible though unless An believes they're good enough and is willing to go without sleep for a lot longer than two days.
