What To Expect In Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence

Here's a quick breakdown of the big new additions. Seer is of course the biggest, being a brand new legend that brings a number of new spy-like gadgetry to the game. His array of devices and weapons will be very intimidating to any team that usually likes to play a slow-paced game.

World's Edge has had a massive overhaul, with a river of lava tearing through the land despite the new buildings that have been placed down.

The new weapon is the Rampage LMG, a is a heavy ammo LMG that can be improved by loading the weapon with a Thermite grenade. Usually, this weapon fires pretty slowly compared to other LMGs, but with a Thermite in the chamber it can outpace many other weapons, and become deadly at close range.

Ranked Arenas is the final big addition, which will now allow the best squads to rise to the top, and the weaker squads to at least find some equal competition in the lower ranks. At least, that's the hope. With any luck, this'll mean the higher and lower skill players will have a decent barrier between them.

We won't even mention any Battle Pass items – the above are just the things you can enjoy without paying a penny, though premium players will also find a lot to love about the new season. Make sure to log in tonight – or, y'know, maybe skip it and wait for the servers to stabilise.
