Apple California Streaming Event Dated for Next Week, iPhone 13 Reveal Expected

As the technology for smartphones has drastically improved over the years, many gamers have found themselves making the transition to the mobile platform. Now, there are now plenty of examples of video games making huge profits on the App Store, ranging up into the high millions.

Now it seems that the next generation of mobile gaming is quickly approaching. Today, Apple announced that it will be hosting its new Apple Event called "California Streaming" on September 14 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET. The event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park Campus in Cupertino, California.

On top of that, according to some analysts and leaks, it is believed that Apple will showcase the iPhone 13 series. The suspected price of the iPhone 13 series starts at $699, with four different models to choose from. Although, it is important to note that Apple has not officially stated what will be shown at the event yet.

Some of the other features speculated to be on the iPhone 13 involve larger battery life, a smaller notch, a camera bump, and a harder exterior than the iPhone 12 series. The iPhone 13 is also expected to come with iOS 15 already installed, which has a ton of new features. One of these new features being SharePlay, which lets users stream content with others over FaceTime.

Another possibility for this event is that Apple will give out more details with the next installment of the MacBook Pro model. After the release of the Macbook Air and Pro models last year, these new models are expected to be about 14 to 16 inches, have an upgraded 1080p webcam, and already come with the M1X Apple Silicon chip. The suspected price for these new models is currently around $1,799 for the 14-inch model and $2,399 for the 16-inch MacBook pro.

There is a strong possibility that both of these products will be announced during the event. However, it is unlikely that they will be released at the same time since Apple has a tendency to space out product releases monthly. Some are already surmising that the iPhone 13 series will release later this month, while the MacBook Pros will be pushed back until October. Hopefully, these theories are confirmed, and fans will be able to get their hands on the latest Apple technology in the near future.
