Eivor and Kassandra Action

Prepare yourself for some Assassin’s Creed double trouble action. Today, Ubisoft announced that it’s cross-over stories featuring Eivor and Kassandra for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Kassandra and Alexios for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are now available. A press release about the stories provides more details.

The press release explains the crossover stories are “answering the question “What happens when two Assassin’s Creed heroes meet?”, allowing fans to deepen their experience in the franchise and exploring the ties between the heroes of the two games.”

Basically, both games present certain requirements to make the crossover available. In Valhalla, players must reach settlement rank 4 and complete the quest “A Wise Friend.” In Odyssey, players must have completed chapter 1 and reached Megaris. However, Ubisoft recommends that “players finish the main game’s three story arcs (Family, Cult of Kosmos and Mythology) to avoid spoilers.

Alongside the announcement of the crossover stories today a trailer was released. Basically, the trailer, showcases the Devs discussing the story and the process of developing the crossovers. It allows players to see just what is in store for them in the crossovers.

The crossover stories will be provided for free. However, players must have the correct base game to go with either story. Each will tell a tale that will bring changes to the story. Thus, why it is important to finish the story of Odyssey.

Additionally as a part of Ubisoft’s 35th anniversary Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is free, for a limited time, from December 16th to 19th. Both titles are available on the Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
