Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Shows New Siege Of Paris Infiltration Missions With Older Eivor

Just before The Siege of Paris expansion release for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft has offered a brand-new trailer, showing off some new gameplay in West Francia.

The Siege of Paris is the second major DLC for Valhalla and the last one to be included in the game’s Season Pass. The story follows Eivor and their Raven Clan eight years after the events of the main game. Thus, the players will see their protagonist grow more mature, getting more battle scars and some other changes on the way.

According to the story, the Vikings travel to France not to conquer it, but to keep King Charles the Fat’s hands away from England. In a new land, Eivor will find a new ally — fierce Nord invader Siegfried.

One of the key features in Siege of Paris DLC will be the new open-ended Infiltration missions, somewhat similar to Assassin’s Creed Unity’s Black Box tasks. For the unfamiliar, these are the assignments in which you get a goal and must figure out how best to accomplish it by yourself. There are usually several different approaches you can take – such as openly fighting the tough guards or exploring the territory for sneaky weaknesses to get in undetected. More sophisticated options are also available for an even more mindful playthrough.

The new footage also shows Eivor wielding a scythe — a new type of brutal two-handed weapon. New abilities, like sticky bombs, will also add heat to the fire.

All of the above is just the beginning of all the new stuff Assassin's Creed players will get in The Siege of Paris, coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.

The Siege of Paris launch times are a bit complicated, but we’ve got you covered. Ubisoft has provided a detailed schedule for various regions and time zones, where you can quickly find out when you can start Eivor’s new adventure.
