With the newest installment of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, gamers can journey through a new time period previously untouched in the series. And with the newest Siege of Paris DLC, fans can now explore ancient Francia with Eivor and experience everything the area offers.
Another great aspect about this DLC is all the new weapons in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla that players can now try out. There are about eight new weapons in total, consisting of short swords and scythes.

However, these weapons can be tricky to find and are scattered all over the place. So for Assassin's Creed Valhalla fans looking to collect all the new powerful weapons, here are all their locations and how to get them.
For the Egbert Short Sword, travel to the southeastern corner and find the thief's encampment in Melunois. Towards the camp center, there will be a piece of paper for gamers to read that states where the thieves left their treasure.
Next, travel north on the map to the icon of the three gold bars in Melunois. There will be a "Norse Man" that fans need to talk to, and they either have to buy it off him, threaten him, or fight them for it.
The Durendal Short Sword can be found in the southern part of Evresin, right on top of the river in Aquila. Once there, find the well in camp and shoot the lid with a flaming arrow; the sword will be in a chest hidden at the bottom.
For the Bloodied Scythe, travel towards the center of Amienois right near Pontem Esera. The camp will be full of enemies, so find the one with the door key and loot their corpse. Next, climb over the wooden fence and use the key. The chest inside will contain the Bloodied Scythe.
The Wretched Scythe can also be found in Amienois right next to Murmiliacum. Find the temple-looking building with the blue flowers outside and climb the stairs to the second floor. There will be a key on the nightstand next to the bed. Take that and go back outside and find the wooden grate on the floor on the side of the building.
Slide down the ladder and unlock the door with the key. There will then be a moveable shelf on the other side of the room leading to a secret room. Inside here will be the chest with the Wretched Scythe.
For the Scythe of Tribulation, head into the middle of Paris right near the Flooded Slums. Look for the building next to some tombstones in the water with a secret passageway inside. Dive in and swim through the tunnel to get to the secret room.
Then, walk through the hallways until there is a barred-off entryway, slide through the other side to unlock the chest, and collect the Scythe of Tribulation.
The Scythe of Revolt can be found through the story mode in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla after players get the key from assassinating Bishop Engelwin at Sainte-Genevieve Church. Once killed, he will have a strange key on him that opens the door to his secret chambers. The Scythe of Revolt will be hanging on the wall in the back of the room.
For the Ring Sword, this can also be obtained in chapter 4 of the story through enjoying the festival at Melun.
Lastly, the Joyeuse Short Sword will involve multiple steps. First, gamers have to find three hidden keys across the map hidden in Diodurum Ruins, Champlieu Ruins, and Gisacum Ruins. Once gathered, enter the Hidden One's Bureau in Paris, and the chest will be hidden inside.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
