No More Heroes 3 just released on the Nintendo Switch and it is giving fans plenty to talk about. No More Heroes 3 has received high praise and fans are excited about this new entry into the over-the-top hack-and-slash action-adventure game. One such fan was so inspired that they created a piece of artwork depicting the game from an entirely different perspective, and the results are quite remarkable.
Travis Touchdown's newest game plays from a third-person perspective, regardless of whether players are taking down enemies, fighting bosses like Mr. Blackhole, or doing mini-game jobs in No More Heroes 3. However, one Reddit artist figured it would be interesting to mix things up. They used pixel art in a post which actually looks incredibly natural for No More Heroes.

User u/suitNtie22 posted a piece of artwork to r/NintendoSwitch recently showcasing what No More Heroes would look like in 2D as a sidescroller, and the upload has blown up.The art shows Travis Touchdown holding his Beam Katana ready for a fight. He is standing right in front of No More Heroes Hotel, and there are easter eggs for the fans all spread about. A full game in this light would be amazing, even if No More Heroes 3 just launched.
As fantastic as the artwork is, it is unlikely that it will inspire any brand new Travis Touchdown-based games in the near future. Suda51 made it clear that this most recent game is Travis Touchdown's last No More Heroes adventure. He stated that the game once had the full title of No More Heroes 3: FINAL BOUT – All-Out Galactic War.
What if NoMoreHeroes was a sidescroller? from

In many ways, the side-scroller approach to No More Heroes almost looks akin to the recent Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. The Switch game was released in 2019 and was almost a spin-off of sorts, as Suda51 collaborated with indie developers to work on the project. A pixel art-style side game in the No More Heroes universe could just work.
If another game were released, Suda51 says that a Shinobu Jacobs spin-off is what he may develop. With Mr. Touchdown now stepping down, Jacobs could take over in or outside of the sidescrolling style. But regardless of whether a new game is ever on the way in the No More Heroes world, the art from Reddit user is very impressive. It is always exciting to see craftsmanship from fans, and a new game can often inspire.
No More Heroes 3 is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
