Set in a dark, dystopian world, Backbone explores the sinister underworld that festers under the surface. Promoting a choice-driven narrative, this compelling neo-noir detective title is an absolute thrill from start to finish.
There’s something about anthropomorphic animals that resonates with audiences. Seeing walking, talking creatures peruse the streets is alluring, however, in Backbone this appeal is heightened due to its luscious design. Each area is brimming with personality and this is accentuated due to the beautiful pixel art that explores both the grimy and glittery side of Vancouver. Due to the incredible lighting and bizarre cast of characters that inhabit the environment, players will want to explore every nook and cranny to learn about the history of this unique world.
