Battlefield Mobile Gameplay Footage Leaks Online

Battlefield Mobile was confirmed by EA earlier this year, with the on-the-go multiplayer experience set to debut in 2022. For those on the fence, or those that cannot wait to try Battlefield Mobile themselves, a series of leaked gameplay clips should prove interesting.

Previously, fans had a limited idea of Battlefield Mobile’s gameplay, as only four official screenshots had been shared prior to these leaks. They showed the game’s main menu screen, first person gameplay, and two vehicles being used. All these things can be seen in the four leaked clips for Battlefield Mobile, with around 10 minutes of footage able to be analyzed.

In the leaked gameplay posted by Redditor TooFlu2, a version of the classic Battlefield map Grand Bazaar is featured. The Battlefield 3 map’s main roads are dominated by tanks and other vehicles, while the middle portion of the map allows for some close quarters gameplay. In the footage, a player can be seen using a tank as a spawn point, confirming that the spawn system will be extremely similar to how it is in traditional Battlefield games. They then engage in a gunfight, picking up a quick F2000 kill. The player also drives an ATV at one point, with a horn button and directional controls visible.

The controls look very similar to something like Call of Duty Mobile, with a reload, crouch, and fire button seen on the right side of the screen. The movement wheel is visible on the left side, with the mini map in the upper left corner and kill feed in the upper right. The player’s loadout is seen at the center of the screen, with gamers able to switch between guns with a press of a button. Destruction from grenades and tanks shots is clearly visible in the gameplay, as are death animations like those in past Battlefield games. Conquest also features a traditional five flag setup.

When Battlefield Mobile releases in 2022, it will also feature a proper loadout system. One of the leaked clips focuses on this, showing 10 different ranks for the featured weapons. Leveling up a gun unlocks specializations like faster weapon switching and a single fire mode, with different attachments also able to be unlocked. Players will be able to bring a pistol, primary weapon, lethal equipment, and launcher with them into each fight. Some other slots are also seen, though it is unclear what these will be used for since they are locked in the footage.

Overall, the game looks a lot like a traditional Battlefield experience, with a large player count and solid visuals on display. With Battlefield Mobile’s Android tests hopefully expanding to other countries soon, those that like what they see in the clips could soon be experiencing the game for themselves.

Battlefield Mobile is currently in development for mobile devices.
