Best Buy Locations Will Restock Nvidia 30-Series GPUs Tomorrow

New Video Card Via Nvidia

Time to bust out the tent and get ready to spend the night at your local Best Buy. The retail chain is getting a new shipment of Nvidia RTX 30-series video cards tomorrow and the plan is to start selling 'em as soon as stores open at 8 AM local time.

Just like last time, Best Buy is limiting purchases to one per customer. To get a new Nvidia GPU, which will likely come in a variety of flavors from the RTX 3060 to the top-of-the-line RTX 3090, customers will have to line up outside of the store. Blue-shirt employees will start handing out tickets to those who have formed an orderly line starting at 7:30 AM. Tickets are first-come, first-served, so your placement in line determines whether you get an opportunity to upgrade your graphics card.

Restocks of Nvidia's new video cards have devolved into bedlam in the past, but it looks like Best Buy's ticket-based system has managed to avoid the worst of it. Demand for these new graphics cards is still at least as high as it is for the PS5 and Xbox Series X, with products flying off the shelves as soon as they're known to be available.

You can get the full list of all 115 Best Buy locations (including one in Peurto Rico!) from their website here.

Keep in mind that you're likely going to have to arrive hours early to get one of these cards. Nvidia's latest cards are DLSS-capable, which can produce enormous performance gains in games that support it. Take Red Dead Redemption 2, for example, which can get up to a 45% performance gain when playing at 4K resolution. Doom Eternal is also a great game to play on a brand new Nvidia card, as exemplified by Nvidia's gameplay demo.
