Best XM4 loadout for Warzone
The XM4 is a great pick if you’re a fan of the M4A1.
Attachments
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 13.5″ Task Force
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Ammunition: STANAG 60 Round
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
This XM4 loadout is all about boosting the gun’s effective damage range and accuracy, while also greatly improving its handling when going full-auto. Due to the gun’s lower damage range, the XM4 is best used in close to mid-range firefights. To help with this, we’ve attached the Axial Arms 3x optic.

This optic will give you just enough magnification to land those ranged headshots, but it will also keep you on target in closer engagements. Next, we’ve utilized the 13.5” Task Force barrel so the XM4 can deal a lethal amount of damage at close range. The increased damage, range, and bullet velocity will help bump up your DPS in those situations where you need to hit an enemy at a distance as well.
To further increase this AR’s mobility and effective damage range, we added the Agency Suppressor. Not only does this noise-canceling muzzle increase the XM4’s bullet velocity, but it also increases the gun’s ADS speed and damage range. Combine this with the Field Agent Grip for better recoil control, and you have a recipe for success.
Rounding things off at the bottom of the list is the STANAG 60 Rnd attachment. This magazine will give you all the ammunition needed to melt multiple foes, especially at long-range, where it’s essential that you don’t run out of ammo.

Similar to many Warzone setups, this loadout also utilizes E.O.D, Amped, and Overkill. E.O.D greatly reduces the damage taken from non-killstreak explosives and fire, which, in a game like Warzone, is a priceless addition to your setup. Amped allows you to switch between weapons faster, making it particularly useful if you do run out of bullets mid-fight.
Lastly, Overkill allows you to equip the MP40 as your secondary. Seeing as this XM4 loadout mainly prioritizes ranged effectiveness, having a weapon like the MP40 will allow you to dominate in close-quarter gunfights and push any weakened opponents.
To round off this loadout, we’ve decided to use the Semtex and Heartbeat Sensor in the lethal and tactical slots. The Semtex is arguably the best lethal in Warzone due to its efficiency in not only damaging enemies but also finishing off downed enemies quickly.
Similarly, the Heartbeat Sensor gives you the ability to track down non-Ghosted enemies and flush out those pesky campers.

Unlocking the XM4 in Warzone is incredibly simple and shouldn’t take you very long.
All you need to do is reach level 4 in either Black Ops Cold War or Warzone, and the gun will be available to customize and rank up.
Alternative to the XM4 loadout
The Krig 6 boasts some fantastic recoil control.
If you’re looking for an alternative to the XM4, then consider using this Krig 6 loadout. While the fire rate might be slower than the XM4, the recoil control and ranged effectiveness makes it a great non-meta pick Warzone.
It may not be the most popular AR in Warzone anymore, but the Krig is perfect for players who struggle to consistently land shots at long-range, so consider giving it a try.
