If you need extra storage space for your consoles, now is the best time to start looking for an external hard drive (pic: Metro)

Consoles only have so much storage space, so Black Friday is the perfect time to purchase an external hard drive or expansion card.

This year’s Black Friday is still a couple of weeks away, but some retailers have already started their big sales and discounts early. Places like Base and Stock Must Go have special offers going on select games and you can certainly expect to see even more by the time Black Friday rolls around on November 26.

More games, however, means more storage requirements for your consoles and, depending on how many games you own already, you may be in the market for an external hard drive or expansion card if you don’t fancy deleting games from your library.

Thankfully, there are a handful of discounts going on for precisely that, for both last gen and current gen consoles.
