Blaster Master Zero 3 launches today on PC and consoles. It’s a return to the traditional taste of the space adventure epic in the purest Metroid style, but with some twists.
For one reason or another, many of us enjoy certain specialized sagas. In the instance of the series in issue, Blaster Master Zero, the two primary reasons for its appeal are, on the one hand, its Metroidvania-like gameplay concept and, on the other, its NES-era beginnings. Back in 1988, it was simply known as Blaster Master.
Blaster Master Zero 3 is here!
In this episode, players will go with Jason to the planet Sophia, where it all began. The aim is to save the heroine Eve, which will bring the narrative to a close. We will have the G-Sophia SV combat tank as well as the Vision Reversal Visor (VRV) technology, which will allow Jason to travel across different universes to help us navigate hazards and barriers.
A series that has lately managed to pinch the increasing vintage fashion and has left us with two prior chapters (appearing in 2017 and 2019) – that is, one every two years – a rhythm that appears to be ideal for a work of these qualities.
Goodbye Jason
To say goodbye to Jason in style, our hero will now be able to travel between realities due to VRV. Once again, the developers have chosen a pixelated aesthetic to bring the title’s bosses, settings, and action-packed stages to life.
Blaster Master Zero released four years ago on the 3DS and Nintendo Switch. Sunsoft’s Blaster Master, which was launched for the NES in 1988, was rebooted with this updated version of the classics.
The popularity of Jason and Blaster Master Zero was so tremendous that Inti Creates did not hesitate to develop a PC and PS4 adaptation of the game, which resulted in a significant number of sales. Four years after the first game in the Zero storyline, Blaster Master Zero 3 is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
