What Can You Do With Shard of Farosh's Horns?
Farosh is the yellow dragon that's surrounded with balls of electricity. It can be quite difficult to approach this dragon because of the electricity but you're going to have to do it if you want to collect some of Farosh's Horns. You can use its horns to make light yellow dye, sell them for 150 Mon or 300 Rupees, or make food with boosts that last 30 minutes so there are various reasons to want to farm them.
Best Farosh Location For Farming
There is a location that is optimal for farming Farosh dragon parts. You can fast travel there and you can sleep until the time the dragon appears. Travel to the Shoda Sah Shrine, if you haven't unlocked it yet you can find it underneath Riola Spring in West Necluda, the shrine is behind the waterfall.
Leave the cave where the shrine is hidden and go up the waterfall to Riola Spring — this is the best place to farm Farosh parts.
How To Farm Farosh's Horns
Once you're near Riola Spring, put down some wood and light it with some flint or a fire weapon. Then, sit and rest until morning. Resting until morning will make it so time will skip to 5 am, which is exactly when Farosh rises out of the spring. You can also use the flames from the fire to create an air current that will help Link fly upwards with his glider.
At 5 am, you will notice Farosh appear, this is your chance. Get out your bow and arrows and point it towards the dragon's horn. The horn will fall off, so follow its bright light to find where it drops. To keep farming these parts, keep repeating the instructions above. Sit back down and rest until morning as many times as you wish to keep collecting horns.
You also don't have to keep gathering the horns as soon as they leave Farosh's body, you can do it after replaying the day a few times, to save yourself some time. Don't forget that you can only harvest one piece of dragon materials a day, so don't bother trying to hit it again with an arrow once you've already hit its body with your arrow.
