The official multiplayer reveal for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is supposed to be next week on 9th September, yet it looks like we’re all getting an early preview thanks to a leak from a Twitch streamer. Well, at least until Activision manages to scrub the footage from the internet.
Although it’s hardly high quality, the video shows a Miami-themed map and a 6v6 match, with players required to protect a VIP until extraction. Modern Warzone notes that Cold War’s multiplayer doesn’t appear to have tactical sprint or doors – so no barging into rooms and shaking the building as you would in Modern Warfare. Health bars are visible above enemy heads, and you can expect scorestreaks to make a return.
The game also appears to have higher time to kill (TTK) than Modern Warfare, although that may be a result of watching most of the match through spectator mode.
