In our Call of Duty Vanguard review, we scored the game a triumphant 9 out of 10, saying:

“The stars have aligned for Call of Duty: Vanguard. For the first time, this truly feels like a full package without any caveats. Sure, some parts are naturally stronger than others but there isn’t a weak link in sight. After back to back triumphs, Call of Duty is now on a killstreak.”

What’s next for Call of Duty? A huge Warzone expansion is on the way and will arrive in December. This will add a brand new map as well as a new anti-cheat systems. Since Warzone launched in 2020 the game has been plagued by hackers – something which developer Raven Software has constantly been working to remedy.

Activision revealed the new Ricochet anti-cheat system for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. The Ricochet Anti-Cheat system will work on multiple levels to try and stamp out cheaters. This includes server-side monitoring tools, better investigation processes and strengthened account security measures. Most controversial, however, is the PC kernel-level driver, which will be used first with Warzone.

Warzone Pacific will arrive in tandem with season one of Vanguard. As with Black Ops Cold War, there will be a battle pass for each season loaded with rewards.
