Chernobylite console version postponed

Chernobylite

If you are a console player and you had Chernobylite in your sight, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer.

Chernobylite, the survival horror RPG set in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone from developer The Farm 51 and publisher All in Games, which we previously discussed and mentioned, has been pushed back until Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

The survival horror is delayed on consoles

Return to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone as a former power plant worker in quest of his lost wife and the mysteries behind the Chernobylite phenomena. Recruit a heist team, set up a base with crafting materials, and prepare to enter the abandoned nuclear reactor’s ruins. Paranormal forces lurk in the shadows, waiting for Igor, but he knows how to prepare for the unexpected.

Chernobylite has been a labor of love and we are humbled by the reception we have gotten so far from both players and critics,” said Wojciech Pazdur, Director of Development at The Farm 51.

We have complete trust that the All in Games team is doing everything in their power to successfully bring Chernobylite to our fans on console. While the delay is unfortunate, it’s also entirely necessary to live up to everyone’s expectations,” he added.

Chernobylite will be released digitally on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S for $29.99. The game is now available on PC.
