Content creators have done it again! Following a collaboration with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, streamers were able to set a platform record during the St. Jude Play Live event.

During the St. Jude Play Live Prize Season in May, gamers from all around the world use their platforms and games to do good while collecting rewards. Donations from over 100 countries poured in via content creators and watchers on Twitch, the streaming network where millions of people connect live every day.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is changing the way the world understands, treats, and cures children cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Its goal is simple: to find remedies. Children must be saved. Because of this, we see content creators getting in touch with St. Jude to work together to help children with cancer.

Twitch aided St. Jude by matching donations and promoting the St. Jude Play Live Prize Season. St. Jude never bills families for treatment, travel, accommodation, or food because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
