Success Corporation has announced (via 4Gamer.net) a Cotton Reboot! update adds Appli-Ke Pumpkin and her talking hat partner Needle from Cotton 2, and its launching sometime in May 2021.
While the Cotton Reboot! update adds Appli-Ke Pumpkin, the update will also tweak the overall screen visible area, and include various bug fixes as well.
Appli-Ke Pumpkin is characterized by its powerful shots and speedy movements, and the balance has been adjusted so that even beginners can clear the game without continuation. (Kumiko Yokote’s name at the time of “Cotton 2”).
Needle is said to be difficult to use. However, the high rate of fire makes it ideal for earning money. The CV of this character is done by Yoshinori Ishikawa, who was also involved in the debugging of “Cotton Reboot”.
