You play as a possessed lamb who is saved from execution by a mysterious stranger. To repay your debt, you are tasked with recruiting like-minded animal friends to amass a loyal following in his name. The game has you starting your own cute little cult, venturing out into the diverse regions of the world to destroy rival cults to assert your cult's dominance.

Cult of the Lamb's main gameplay loop will be familiar for roguelike fans, with a hack and slash combat system that must be utitlised perfectly during intense boss fights. There will also be a base building mechanic which will allow players to create structures and customize their camps in order to strengthen their cult, perform dark rituals, and give sermons to increase the strength of their flock.

Unfortunately, a specific release date hasn't yet been confirmed, but Cult of the Lamb is confirmed to be releasing on Steam. There is no news on whether the game will be coming to consoles, but expect more information before the game releases at some point next year.
