Cyberpunk 2077 Glitch/Bug Montage Leaked Online

Keanu Reeves Cyberpunk 2077 Min 700x409

Cue the Benny Hill Music

At this point, we all know that the console versions of Cyberpunk 2077 was/still is a hot mess. There is speculation on just how well CD Projekt Red thought it would perform on PS4 and Xbox One, but clearly, since the PlayStation store still has not relisted it, it was not nearly good enough. Recently, it seems that there is some leaked footage that the devs have put together as part of a gag reel or sorts. Now, I like a gag reel as much as anyone, but it just kind of bolsters the idea that people at CD Projekt Red were not confident in the technical performance of the game.

There are three videos we have found (the second one contains dicks, teabagging, and teabagging dicks in mouths, so watch it). They aren’t just collections of bugs to work on either; they are fully edited bloopers with funny music and everything, so someone clearly worked on it with the intention of releasing it. The trouble is, it goes beyond the “it’s funny because it’s true” schtick and lands somewhere in the realm of “it’s just true”.

In the defense of these clips, it’s clear that some of them were funny things to make us laugh. There are instances of the player riding a bike made of hotdogs and hamburgers in a test area and things like that. However, there are also a bunch of clips where animations and physics were meant to work properly, but just didn’t, like in the initial release. If you can stand to watch these videos without being reminded of the game that wasn’t delivered, then I suggest you take a few minutes for a laugh, but if it is just too real for you, I understand. Cyberpunk 2077 is available for PC, Xbox One, and Stadia.
