A Cyberpunk 2077 player has stumbled across a hidden message from CD Projekt Red.
Redditor Feeltherush2132 posted his discovery to the Cyberpunk subreddit, saying, "Has anyone ever found this before. Well done. I was exploring and found this too bad there wasn’t something exclusive over here. Kinda cool though".

The video shows Feeltherush2132 climbing high above Night City, seemingly randomly trying to get out of bounds. The player then jumps down towards a small balcony. After landing on it, the player discovers two chests with items inside, as well as a message on the floor saying, "well done". CD Projekt Red also included a cheeky "warning: danger of falling" sign towards the end of the balcony.
Although Feeltherush2132 was a little disappointed that the loot chests didn't include a unique item of some kind, they were happy to see CD Projekt Red put a completely missable easter egg like this into the game. They also explained how they'd managed to reach such heights, "I used the flying katana glitch it’s near the big building where you break in to mess with the parade float".
The reaction towards the easter egg on the subreddit has been about as mixed as you can expect with anything to do with Cyberpunk 2077. Some praised the easter egg as a nice little inclusion, whilst others claimed that it was likely CD Projekt Red trying to get in as many small easter eggs as possible before the game shipped.
One interesting theory comes from Redditor CDHmajora, who said, "Personally I think this was remnants of very early development where you might possibly have been allowed to use the flying cars. Odds are they planned to just dump fancy loot chests on roofs and stuff and forgot to remove this one specifically".
The most likely reason for the easter egg being there is simply that CD Projekt Red wanted to celebrate players being able to reach an area they're not supposed to be in. Just look at GTA 3's out of bounds easter egg and you'll see it's a tried and true inclusion.
