Darksiders 3 Heading To Nintendo Switch On September 30

After launching on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in 2018, Darksiders 3 is finally releasing for Nintendo Switch on September 30 – along with both The Crucible and Keepers of the Void DLC.

The announcement came earlier today on Twitter, with the official THQ Nordic account sending out a brief message. Beyond announcing the release date for both the base game and DLC, there was no other information about any graphical changes or further gameplay improvements.

We did, however, learn that it'll be available in both digital and physical formats.

Seeing as it's arriving a few years late to the party, it's great to see both The Crucible and Keepers of the Void included with your purchase. The Crucible features a new game mode that pits you against 101 waves of increasingly difficult enemies, while Keepers of the Void features a new plotline and a variety of exclusive armor for Fury.

Although it didn't set the world on fire when it launched, Darksiders 3 still managed to pull in mixed reviews. Some fans enjoyed its brutal, fast-paced combat and unique storyline, while others thought it simply didn't do enough to improve the format of the previous two installments.

Darksiders 3 will be available on Nintendo Switch on September 30.
