Season of the Splicer has over 30 new and reprised Legendary weapons for players to chase. New weapons have been added to the world pool, core activities, and brought back from the original Destiny as Nightfall or raid weapons. Let's dig into what new weapons you can expect from the new seasonal activity, Vault of Glass raid, and Destiny's various core playlist activities.

Updated July 13th, 2021, by Charles Burgar: Season of the Splicer is winding down, although the loot chase has only just begun. Timelost weapons are now available from Master Vault of Glass, Adept weapons from GM Nightfalls are farmable, and Solstice of Heroes introduced a new Shotgun for Guardians to chase. We've updated this guide to include the new Compass Rose Shotgun. We've also reorganized the article to make it easier to find information about each weapon added this season. Enjoy!

Seasonal Weapons

There are six new seasonal weapons tied to Season of the Splicer, two of which are tied to the Season Pass free track. That lines up with how many seasonal weapons were introduced in Season of the Hunt and Season of the Chosen. Here's what you can expect:

Iron Banner Weapons

Destiny 2 is finally getting new Iron Banner weapons this season. There are four new weapons on offer, two of which are completely new.

Vault Of Glass Weapons

The Vault of Glass raid has returned in Season of the Splicer, bringing along its memorable encounters and sweet loot. If you missed out on this raid during the original Destiny, get ready to farm some devastating weapons.

Unfortunately, not every weapon from VoG has returned. Weapons like Atheon's Epilogue and Praedyth's Timepiece are not in Destiny 2. The weapons Bungie did bring back have the ability to roll two unique perks.

VoG Traits

Every weapon in Vault of Glass (excluding the Rocket Launcher) can roll with two new traits: Rewind Rounds and Firefly. Here's what they each do:

Technically, Firefly isn't new—as it was Ace of Spades' non-Exotic trait. Nevertheless, this is the first time Firefly has appeared on Legendary weapons.

Core Activity And World Loot

Nightfalls have received three new weapons that rotate on a weekly basis, all of which are reprisals from the original Destiny. You can also expect one new weapon in each core activity—Vanguard Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit—and tons of weapons in the world pool. Solstice of Heroes also introduced a new Shotgun: Compass Rose.

Bungie did state that there would be 12 weapons tied to core activities, but this isn't true. There are four unique guns tied to ritual activities. The remaining eight weapons are world drops.

Solstice Of Heroes Loot

Solstice 2021 introduced a new Shotgun for players to farm for, available from Solstice Packages.

Trials Of Osiris Loot

Trials got one new weapon this season: a Void SMG.

Ritual Weapon

This season's ritual weapon is Null Composure, a Void Fusion Rifle that's the spiritual successor to Loaded Question. It can be obtained from the ritual quest "A Sacred Fusion."

It comes with Feeding Frenzy or Heating Up (increased accuracy and stability after a kill) in the first column. The second column can use either Reservior Burst or High-Impact Reserves.
