Destiny 2 Season Of The Lost: All Week 2 Seasonal Challenges

Quick Links

The second set of Seasonal Challenges for Destiny 2's Season of the Lost are now active. Players looking to obtain a large amount of XP or Bright Dust will want to complete as many of these challenges as possible. If you want to unlock all 12 Artifact mods or increase your Artifact's Power level, Seasonal Challenges are a great way of doing so.

This week, you'll be tasked with eradicating Scorn on the Tangled Shore, discovering Enigmatic Mysteries in the Shattered Realm, and completing Iron Banner matches. All of these challenges should be fairly easy for veteran players. But for newer players or returning veterans, here is how you can complete all ten of these challenges as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Wayfinder's Voyage II

Wayfinder's Voyage II: Use the Wayfinder's Compass to complete Wayfinder's Voyage II. Also, defeat Scorn with Grenade Launchers.

Rewards

Wayfinder's Voyage II is the second story quest in Season of the Lost. So long as you've completed last week's quest, simply interact with the Wayfinder's Compass at the H.E.L.M. to start this quest.

At any point during or after the quest, you'll also need to defeat 100 Scorn with Grenade Launchers—breech and drum-loaded GLs both give progress. Salvager's Salvo, Witherhoard, and the new Canis Major are good options. As for where to find that many Scorn, you can either farm Astral Alignment or the Kingship Dock Lost Sector on the Tangled Shore.

Umbral Wayfinder II

Umbral Wayfinder II: Use Parallax Trajectory to focus Umbral Engrams at the Prismatic Recaster in the H.E.L.M. Open Wayfinder's Troves in the Astral Alignment activity.

Rewards

This challenge is retroactive.

This challenge requires two things:

  1. Open 6 Wayfinder's Troves.
  2. Focus 6 Umbral Engrams.

The former are chests that spawn at the end of Astral Alignment. Opening a Wayfinder's Trove costs 150 Parallax Trajectory. The latter objective requires that you use any of Season of the Lost's focusing options that cost Parallax Trajectory; Umbral focusing that just requires Legendary Shards will not count.

Ley Line Secrets

Ley Line Secrets: Align beacons and discover Trivial and Enigmatic Mysteries within the Shattered Realm.

Rewards

This challenge is retroactive.

If you've played last week's Shattered Realm, you'll know what to expect. You'll need to activate beacons scattered across the map before fighting a Techeun boss. Defeating the Techeun will unlock a new marker type—most likely True Sight—which should allow you to access Enigmatic Mysteries.

As for specific challenge requirements, you need to do the following:

You don't have to fill all three criteria in the Debris of Dreams. Progress for this challenge can be made in any Shattered Realm mission. We'll link a Mystery guide for the Debris of Dreams once it's finished.

Astral Lancer

Astral Lancer: Defeat combatants with Linear Fusion Rifles. Combatants defeated in the Shattered Realm of Astral Alignment activities grant bonus progress.

Rewards

If you want to get this done quickly, hop into the Astral Alignment activity with the new Lorentz Driver LFR from the Season Pass. This weapon deals solid damage, only uses Special ammo, and can clear a group of adds with a single precision kill. You'll need 150 kills to finish Astral Lancer, although enemies in Season 15 activities are worth more.

Iron Sharpens Iron

Iron Sharpens Iron: Complete Iron Banner matches. Earn bonus progress for wins.

Rewards

As of writing this, Iron Banner is currently active. You'll need to finish 15 games for this challenge. Wins count as three games played.

Drifter's Chosen

Drifter's Chosen: Earn points by banking Motes, defeating Blockers, and defeating Guardians in Gambit.

Rewards

This challenge requires that you earn 250 points in Gambit. Virtually everything you do in this activity will grant some type of progress. Points are given out as follows:

The fastest way of finishing this challenge is to bank Motes and kill Blockers. Blockers will grant most of your progress for this, so focus on taking them out whenever possible.

The Tangled Web We Weave

The Tangled Web We Weave: On the Tangled Shore, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.

Rewards

Since the Wayfinder's Voyage II Seasonal Challenge asks for Scorn GL kills, you might as well kill two birds with one stone. Head to the Kingship Dock Lost Sector. Enter the area, clear out the enemies, loot the chest, then run back to the bridge right after the elevator. Run back to the Lost Sector, rinse and repeat. This challenge shouldn't take more than an hour to finish.

Contender's Delve

Contender's Delve: Complete a Lost Sector on Legend or higher.

Rewards

Legend Lost Sectors are far easier than Master variants, so we recommend you complete whichever Legend Lost Sector is currently active. So long as you're around 1,300 Power, they shouldn't give you many issues. For more specific advice, consult the Master Lost Sector guides on our Destiny 2 hub page.

Close-Range Calibration

Close-Range Calibration: Calibrate close-range weapons—Sidearms, Submachine Guns, Shotguns, and Swords—on the Tangled Shore. Bonus progress for rapidly defeating combatants.

Rewards

Once again, make your way to the Kingship Dock Lost Sector. Bring any close-range weapon you like. Enemies in this Lost Sector spawn in large waves, making the 200 kill requirement go by significantly faster.

Taken Eradication

Taken Eradication: Defeat Taken combatants in strikes. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants.

Rewards

As of writing this, the Lake of Shadows strike is this week's Nightfall. Boot up either the strike or Nightfall variant, and clear out the mission as fast as you can. This strike is so short that you should be able to finish this challenge in an hour or less.
