Destiny 2: The Best Rolls For The New Season Of The Lost Trials Of Osiris And Iron Banner Weapons

Season of the Lost is here in Destiny 2, and although we’re still weeks away from the first Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris, we still know what perks the new weapons will come with courtesy of API-scraping site light.gg. And yes, it’ll be difficult to farm any of these weapons owing to their time-limited nature, but you’ve got six months and many Iron Banners and Trials weekends to go through, so the odds aren’t really that bad.

So before either Iron Banner or Trials gets here, let’s take a look at what Guardians will be hunting for.

Peacebond

Now that Shotgun sliding has been nerfed, other close-range weapons have stepped in to fill the void. Sidearms are set to be extremely dangerous in the Crucible, and the Peacebond's three-round burst is likely to be to a favorite among Sidearm fans.

In PvE, Subsistence is likely to be your preferred perk in the first column, while Killing Wind, Range Finder, or Tunnel Vision will be the PvP options. In the second column, there are really no bad options. Swashbuckler, Harmony, and Surrounded provide a damage buff while Demolitionist, Headstone, and Snapshot Sights provide utility. Headstone in particular will be great for Stasis-based builds that benefit from the extra Stasis crystals.

Best PvE Roll: Hammer-Forged Rifling, Accurized Rounds, Subsistence, Swashbuckler

Forge's Pledge

Forge's Pledge is no Bygones, and is basically a Solar Hailing Confusion. But, just like Hailing Confusion, you can get Surplus to shore up the gun's poor overall stats and make it at least feel like a Bygones.

In the second perk column, you've got Wellspring for ability-focused builds or you can roll Rampage or Multikill Clip for some extra damage. Adaptive Pulse Rifles aren't exactly meta in the Crucible these days, so expect this to be more of a PvE rifle owing to Pulse's receiving Unstoppable mods this season.

Best PvE Roll: Arrowhead Brake, Tactical Mag, Surplus, Wellspring

Reed's Regret

The new Trials of Osiris weapon is Destiny 2's first Stasis Linear Fusion Rifle. Linears are hardly a meta choice for Power weapons in the Crucible, but Reed's Regret comes with quite a few great perks for PvE.

In the first column, Clown Cartridge, Surplus, and Triple Tap are your perks, while the second column has Firing Line and Vorpal for extra damage. Adagio is another interesting option–it slows down your firing rate while upping each shot's damage. The net benefit is roughly six percent additional DPS, but far greater total damage potential over your entire reserve of heavy ammo.

Best PvE Roll: Arrowhead Brake, Liquid Coils, Triple Tap, Vorpal

Best PvP Roll: Hammer-Forged Rifling, Accelerated Coils, Quickdraw, Vorpal
