Devil May Cry Dante Statue Costs Over $4000

Devil May Cry 5 is an incredible game that's well worth your time on next-gen consoles, especially since it received its upgrade package. It's also a great game to get into if you love merch.

Last January, Capcom teamed up with Prime 1 Studio to release a line of two-foot statues for Dante, Vergil, Nero, and V. Each one was incredibly detailed, featured a dynamic pose, and clocked in at a reasonable price of $1,200.

Prime 1 Studios have now returned once again with a brand new offering. This time, it's just Dante that makes the grade, but the Devil May Cry hero gets an enormous glow-up.

This new statue is half-size, which means Dante is 3.5-feet tall (109 cm) and weighs over 30 kg (66 lbs). This goes way beyond being a display piece for your mantle and approaches the size of something you'd have greet people at your front door.

It's also way more detailed than Prime 1's previous offerings, with genuine leather and real fabric for Dante's outfit, actual metal for his Rebellion sword and Ebony & Ivory handguns, and a head that features synthetic hair for both beard and scalp. If that's a little too creepy, you can swap out the synthetic hair head for something that's just molded plastic.

“Prime 1 Studio’s tailors have been able to painstakingly recreate Dante’s long coat in exacting detail due to this statue’s immense scale,” writes Prime 1 Studios on the statue’s store page. “Inspect each and every stitch, and you won’t be disappointed. Marvel at the threadbare qualities of his Henley shirt, created to call back to his signature look from the game. We’ve employed real, metal hardware in his clothes: from the rivets on his shoulders to the zippers on his sleeves. Even his finely-tailored pants have a belt with a gleaming buckle and functional riveting.”

There are two versions of the statue. The Black Label Edition includes genuine leather clothes and the synthetic hair, while the Standard Edition version uses synthetic leather and has just a molded plastic head.

The Black Label Edition will set you back $4299.99, while the Standard Edition is just $2699.99. Pre-orders are available now with shipping set to begin between November 2022 and February 2023.
