The upcoming dark fantasy RPG Disciples: Liberation has a release date.

Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Frima Studio unveiled Disciples: Liberation earlier today. Frima Studio’s fantasy RPG ushers in a new era for the genre, enabling players to explore a beautifully drawn dark fantasy realm while engaging in complicated turn-based battles with nasty monsters.

80+ hour adventure

In Disciples: Liberation, you will complete hundreds of distinct tasks and build connections with a variety of in-world groups, ranging from a human kingdom tinted with religious fanaticism to the dark armies of the undead led by a mad queen.

Experience a dark fantasy epic divided into three acts. We’re told to expect over 270 missions that go through four distinct settings – from lush forests to scorching volcanic plains and frozen tundra – to discover the mysteries hidden beneath the land. The game reportedly has over 80 hours of gameplay.

Players choose from four distinct skill classes to establish your position in the universe. You’ll then join forces with four in-game factions ranging from noble elf clans to ruthless zombie hordes, each with their own motives and gameplay incentives.

Disciples: Liberation launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 21, 2021.
