Golden Frieza will reportedly be a boss in the A New Power Awakens – Part 2 DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available for Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (We recommend it).
The news comes via Ryokutya2089, a Japanese blog dedicated to summarizing information from Famitsu and other Japanese physical press. They state the next part of the A New Power Awakens will add a boss battle against Frieza in his Golden form from Dragon Ball Super.
A New Power Awakens – Part 1 featured other content and characters from Dragon Ball Super- something that would occur years after the events of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Therein, Frieza’s minions revived him, allowing him to seek his revenge against Goku, heading to Earth.
Frieza’s special moves will include Golden Death Ball, Golden Edge, Golden Death Slicer, and Golden Rush. As such, this means the boss’ moves- or at least their names- are different to the moves he used in his boss battle in the base game.
As with the prior part, A New Power Awakens- Part 2 will likely be exclusive to Season Pass holders for a time. We will keep you informed as we learn more.
