As streamers and gaming YouTubers grow more popular by the day, there's a rise in popularity towards those who keep their identities secret. With the advent of things such as V-Tubers and the Minecraft Survival Multiplayer Server scene, it seems audiences have grown to be attached to the faces influencers use instead of their own. Minecraft YouTuber Dream is mostly known by the drawn smiley face used as his avatar, but he's been eluding to revealing his face someday, with the latest tease being about his hair.
Dream is known for creating a Minecraft SMP YouTube series that has gained a huge following in such a short time. He has also dabbled in speedrunning, but his latest run was met with cheating allegations.

Dream posted some cryptic pictures of himself holding discs belonging to his fellow Minecraft YouTubers. While the photo seems innocent enough for a YouTuber aiming to hide his face, letting the items in the photo speak for him, fans quickly noticed his hair peeking out from under his hoodie. His viewers, of course, took to social media as they spoke excitedly about the tease.
Some of his audience complimented Dream on his choice of cargo pants and gloves, and one fan on Twitter responded with "stop making us think you're a person, you're a blob." Dream's fans have also noticed that the pictures on Twitter and Instagram are different from each other, though the difference mostly comes down to the pose Dream sits in. In response to a viewer's question, Dream ended up tweeting out on his main Twitter that he wasn't bald.
While all the tweet gives away is that Dream has hair and what color it is, it's still exciting for the fans awaiting more hints as to who the YouTuber really is. It isn't out of the ordinary for YouTubers to eventually reveal what they look like, as even Pokemon Unite player Moistcr1tikal once was faceless, yet now when he streams on Twitch and posts videos, his camera is always on.
The teases towards the eventual face reveal act almost like a fun countdown of sorts for the fans. Where Dream has said he definitely wants to show his face in an interview once, there's no evidence as to when that will be. If Dream's hair was enough to cause his fans to be this level of excited, the response from the face reveal should prove to be much more positive than the YouTuber's botched charity promises.
