Destiny 2 Season Of The Splicer: All Week 9 Seasonal Challenges

Quick Links

The endless night has finally ended this week in Destiny 2. Now that Quria is defeated, all that's left between this and the next season are Solstice of Heroes and the end-of-season epilogue. Of course, this week also comes with a new set of Seasonal Challenges.

To tie in with the launch of this year's Solstice of Heroes event, most of the challenges this week revolve around elemental final blows. Every challenge this week is fairly easy to complete, albeit a little grindy. Let's go over how you can complete all five of this week's challenges for XP and Bright Dust.

Elemental Armaments

Elemental Armaments: Defeat targets with different types of elemental weapons. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians, and for defeating combatants in Override and Expunge.

Rewards

  • Quadruple XP
  • 250 Decrypted Data

You'll need to land final blows with certain element types:

  • 200 Arc weapon final blows
  • 200 Solar weapon final blows
  • 200 Void or Stasis weapon final blows

Guardians and enemies in Expunge or Override are worth more. If you're in a hurry to finish this challenge, you can enter the Thrall room in the Shattered Throne dungeon. Kill as many Thrall as you need until the challenge finishes. The Shuro Chi encounter in the Last Wish raid is also a good farming spot. If you can't do either, Override and Expunge: Styx are good farming spots. Consider wearing your Solstice of Heroes armor while doing this, as some of the challenges revolve around elemental orbs.

Path Of The Scribe

Path of the Scribe: Scan the Eliksni Scribe recordings in the Eliksni Quarter of the Last City.

Rewards

  • Double XP
  • 150 Decrypted Data

This challenge is retroactive.

The Eliksni Quarter is the Fallen hub that was introduced in Season of the Splicer. You can access it by opening the H.E.L.M. on your Director and selecting the "Last City: Eliksni Quarter" option on the bottom left. There are nine objects that need to be scanned, all of which are found directly in front of spawn.

Eliksni Ally III

Eliksni Ally III: Increase your Reputation with the Splicer Servitor in the H.E.L.M.

Rewards

  • Double XP

This challenge is retroactive.

Reach rank 30 with the Splicer Servitor to complete this challenge. You can view your reputation with any vendor by speaking to them and looking at the top-right corner of their vendor UI.

You increase the Splicer's reputation by obtaining Decrypted Data, which is usually found in Override or Seasonal Challenges. Rank 30 is quite a requirement, but you should be at a fairly high rank if you've completed previous Seasonal Challenges or frequent the Override playlist. If you still need ranks, farm the Override playlist or Corrupted Expunge missions. Every Conflux Chest—Corrupted or otherwise—grants a large amount of Encrypted Data, increasing your reputation rank with the Servitor.

Armory-Wide Calibration

Armory-Wide Calibration: Calibrate Kinetic, Energy, and Power weapons. Bonus progress against Champions.

Rewards

  • x8 XP
  • 300 Bright Dust

Similar to the Elemental Armaments challenge, you'll need to land 200 weapon final blows with each weapon type: Kinetic, Energy, and Power. Champions grant additional progress, but it's best to farm an activity that has hundreds of enemies.

Your main options are:

  • The Thrall room in the Shattered Throne dungeon.
  • The Shuro Chi encounter in the Last Wish raid.
  • Altars of Sorrow
  • Legend Lost Sectors

Legend Lost Sectors, on the right day, can give you a massive amount of progress due to a sizable number of enemies and Champions. If you can't reach the Thrall or Shuro encounters, you can always farm Altars of Sorrow on the Moon.

Elemental Splicing

Elemental Splicing: Complete strikes as each elemental subclass.

Rewards

  • Quadruple XP
  • 150 Bright Dust
  • Mantle of Duty – Shader

Elemental Splicing requires that you complete two strikes with each subclass type. If you own the Beyond Light expansion, you can complete two strikes as Stasis in place of Solar. Similar to progressing the weekly singe milestone, you can make progress on this challenge by swapping to a certain subclass at the end of a strike. For example, if you need Arc completions, you can swap to an Arc subclass just before the strike ends to make progress.
