In order to cast spells in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered, players will need to find magicite first, but eventually there is a way to bypass this requirement. With great care and a lot of grinding, players will be able to obtain magical rings as artifacts that allow them to start a dungeon with a spell equipped, including the ever useful Cure spell. This makes Crystal Chronicles‘ spell fusion much easier to pull off as well.

Finding the Ring of Cure is no easy task, however, as it can only be obtained from one dungeon and under very specific circumstances. Casual Crystal Chronicles Remastered players will probably be better off progressing through the game as normal and not stressing much about these rare artifacts.

Players that enjoy the hardcore RPG aspects of Crystal Chronicles Remastered should love trying to wrap their heads around the complex systems that govern the game’s loot drops from bosses. Getting the Ring of Cure may be difficult, but it will certainly be helpful in future endeavors.

The Ring of Cure is found in the Conall Curach dungeon, first available in year four. The Ring of Cure can be found on any cycle of this dungeon, though the first cycle will provide the easiest chance of getting it. Within the level, players have two chances to get a Ring of Cure. In the second major area of the dungeon right before the transition to the third area. A side path which looks somewhat like a horseshoe will lead to the chest. Unfortunately, this chest has a very low drop rate for Ring of Cure, and will drop a Star Pendant more often than not, but is worth checking nonetheless. The other method changes depending on whether one is playing Crystal Chronicles Remastered with friends.

When that inevitably fails, players will need to navigate Crystal Chronicles Remastered‘s complex artifact system. In order to have a chance of getting a Ring of Cure as a reward after defeating the boss of the dungeon, players will need to rack up at least 193 bonus points in single player (208 in 2P, 237 in 3P, and 260 in 4P), and even then it may not appear in the rewards list. Without delving into too much detail about the Bonus point system, players can still get the Ring of Cure if they get more points, but it is best to stay within the range of 193-239 (208-259 in 2P, 237-294 in 3P, 260-323 in 4P) or go all the way and score 301 points or more (325 in 2P, 370 in 3P, 406 in 4P).

It should be restated that none of this confirms that the ring will drop, but it will maximize players’ chances at receiving it. Being able to cast cure at any time regardless of what Magicite the player has found is an incredibly useful ability, but it will take a great deal of patience in order to achieve. Players will want to familiarize themselves with the bonus point system as well in order to make sure they are landing within the correct bonus point ranges. There are also new artifacts in Crystal Chronicles Remastered that will require players to understand these systems to get as well.
