Final Fantasy Legend 1, 2 And 3 Coming To Steam And Mobile Devices

In celebration of Collection of SaGa’s thirtieth anniversary last year, the first three games in the series came to the Nintendo Switch. The Collection of SaGa is also known by the name Final Fantasy Legend, for those who are located in North America. Now, the first three Final Fantasy Legend games will be coming to mobile devices and Steam later this year.

Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend’s first three games will be coming to iOS and Android devices on September 22 of this year, and they will make an appearance on Steam as of October 21 of this year. The game was first released on Game Boy in 1990, so this will be a thrill for long-time fans looking for a throwback experience.

These games will include all the features we know and love, such as fantasy worlds, fighting monsters, exploring towns, and battle dungeons. But additionally, some new features will also be added. These features include:

In addition, Square Enix has stated that in celebration of the games coming to new platforms, players of Romancing SaGa Re: Universe will be able to listen to the original soundtrack from all three games in the Concert Hall. Additionally, players will be able to earn up to 2,000 jewels for a limited time if they complete missions. They will also be able to get login bonuses and summon new character styles.

Earlier this summer, Square Enix was pleasantly surprised to see the SaGa remasters exceeding their sales expectations. In an interview with RPG Site, Square Enix’s SaGa team shared some insight into the SaGa remasters:

So first regarding Collection of SaGa: In terms of sales, it's actually a little bit above what we have forecasted, so it’s on a good path. This was a complete port of the original Game Boy titles, and in that sense, we feel that it aligns with what the users were envisioning and that it met the player’s expectations.
