A World Ruined

In a world devastated by climate change it is up to you to lead a small group into a new society. Today Vile Monarch and Ravenscourt are happy to unveil their survival city-builder, Floodland. Releasing on November 15th, 2022 the game will provide players with a city-building experience in a unique setting. A press release provides more info on the game’s features. Additionally, players can get a glimpse of the game in the new announcement trailer from Gamescom 2022.

Floodland

Floodland introduces players to a world ruined by man-made climate change. Starting on the outskirts of a drowned city players will lead a small group of nomads into this new world. Starting from the ground up players must help their people construct a camp, and then take this camp to a thriving town and beyond. Of course, to do this, you will need the resources to build new buildings and transform old ones into structures of use.

Importantly players will need to balance their growing settlement with the societal issues that come with it. Will you be a leader of unity or division? Will you use the technologies you re-learn to bring prosperity or destruction? These questions and more will arise as players make their way through the broken world.

Players can get a glimpse at all that Floodland has to offer in the announcement trailer.

Floodland is releasing November 15th, 2022. It will be available on Steam on GOG. So, are you prepared to lead what’s left of humanity? What kind of leader will you become?
