Where to Find Alien Nanites in Fortnite
Although Alien Nanites can be found in various places, especially inside of the IO chests at IO bases and the chests inside of the Mothership, there's a straightforward method for getting some, but it'll cost players some bars.
To purchase some Alien Nanites, Fortnite players should head to Lazy Lake and speak to the NPC there named Marigold. She'll sell a single Alien Nanite for 150 Gold Bars, but she has five of them in stock if players would like more. However, to complete the quest, only one is needed.
How to Craft Weapon Using Alien Nanites in Fortnite
Players can use the Alien Nanite to upgrade certain weapons. Once Fortnite players find a Rare, Epic or Legendary weapon that can be upgraded, the weapon in the item bar will have a small icon hovering over it. There will also be an icon over the Alien Nanite, showing that it can be used as material for the crafting process.
Console players can press the up button on the D-pad to open up the inventory menu. From here, Fortnite players can tab over to Crafting and then hit the craft button when hovering over the upgradable weapon. The Alien Nanite will go away, but players will find themselves with a stronger gun and a completed Legendary quest.
From here, players can continue to complete other challenges for Fortnite's Season 7, Week 12. Since the season is coming to an end pretty soon, players will want to make sure they unlock all of the cosmetics from the battle pass.
Fortnite is currently free-to-play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
