Genshin Impact: Best Team Compositions For Klee

Klee takes after her mother, the famous adventurer Alice, in that they both have a penchant for being rather extra – especially in combat. Despite the strict upbringing of the Knights of Favonius, Genshin Impact players know just how destructive Klee can become at the right hands. Being a Pyro Catalyst, won't hesitate to get up close and personal to enemies just to devastate them with barrage after barrage of attacks.

Klee users know just how destructive her attacks could get. If they could get past her charges and long animations, Klee can effectively obliterate foes who even try to get close to her. With a team that can aid her in positioning and support, Klee can unleash her full firepower without hesitation in Genshin Impact.

Enter Klee

Despite her size, Klee can become quite the devastating foe to face with the right build. Players who want to dish out some nasty burst attacks can use Klee to rain hell on enemies. However, they might want to ensure that their Klee build can help utilize her burst potential more efficiently. Here are some things to take note:

Notable Constellations

Players know that Klee is built to bring out the pain thanks to her Constellations. All of her Constellations boost the core potency of her attacks. Here are things to consider:

  • Chained Reaction: Klee's skills and attacks have a chance to summon a spark that can deal 120-percent of damage usually dealt by Sparks 'n' Splash.
  • Explosive Frags. When enemies get hit by Jumpy Dumpty's mines, they get 23-percent reduced defense for 10 seconds. This Constellation encourages Klee to build a setup for deadlier team combos.
  • Sparkly Explosion: When Klee leaves the field during Sparks 'n' Slash, she triggers an explosion. This blast will deal 555-percent of her attack as Pyro Damage in a deadly AOE burst.

Ideal Weapon

Being an offense specialist, Klee works best with weapons that boost her elemental damage – particularly when using her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. Here are some important weapons to consider using with her:

  • Skyward Atlas: When Klee uses the Skyward Atlas, she gets a 12-percent elemental damage boost. Moreover, her normal attacks have 50-percent chance to summon an elemental cloud. These clouds deal 160-percent damage to nearby enemies for 15 seconds, with each cloud instance only happening once per 30 seconds.
  • Solar Pearl: With this item, Klee gets a 20-percent boost to Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst damage for six seconds. She also gets a 20-percent attack damage boost for Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst attacks.

Ideal Artifact Set

Klee should use Artifact sets that allow her to unleash her full Pyro potential to the fullest. Other than that, ideal Artifact sets should always try to boost her attack potential. Here are some Artifact sets that can work great with Klee's playstyle:

  • Crimson Witch of Flames: Being the quintessential Pyro Artifact set, it makes sense for Klee to have this set equipped. At two pieces, Klee gets 15-percent bonus damage to Pyro. Meanwhile, getting four items equipped can give a 40-percent boost to burning damage, and 15-percent damage to Vaporize and Melt damage. Likewise, using an Elemental Skill with this set will give a 50-percent boost to the two-piece effect of the artifact.
  • Gladiator's Finale: When Klee uses this two-item Artifact set, she gets an 18-percent boost to attack.

Which Team Composition To Use?

Since Klee packs a punch with her bombs, she's an ideal fit as a Secondary DPS for mean team setups. She's best paired with teammates that love dishing out damage to enemies. She's also particularly efficient when it comes to capitalizing on burst attacks with her party. Here are some ideal teammates:

Bennett, Sucrose, Diona

Players who want to max out Klee’s damage with her charged attack can do well with Bennett (Pyro), Sucrose (Anemo), and Diona (Cryo). Bennett powers up Klee’s basic attack with Pyro Resonance and his natural toolkit. Moreover, Sucrose with the Viridescent Venerer can give enemies a 40-percent Pyro Resistance debuff, further enhancing Klee’s damage.

In addition to these natural buffs, Diona can help Klee achieve Melt reactions more often. Considering the insane Pyro DMG buffs from Melt, Klee’s attacks get that much-needed oomph.

Albedo, Sucrose, Diona

Players who want to buff Klee’s destructive potential with more speed can get a lot out of Albedo (Geo), Sucrose (Anemo), and Diona (Cryo). Albeit lacking in terms of Pyro Resonance, Diona’s presence can proc Melt and give Klee a much-needed mobility boost. This works well in sync with the other high-DMG specs of other members.

In the case of boosting damage, Albedo as a Geo user can boost Klee’s Elemental Mastery and buff her overall DPS. Meanwhile, Sucrose as the Anemo user can create elemental reactions often to effectively crowd control enemies. Sucrose’s pulling mechanic can make way for devastating bursts when paired with Klee’s bomb attacks.

Bennett, Xingqiu, Venti

Klee can capitalize on her destructive prowess with the right synergies. In this situation, Klee alongside Bennett (Pyro), Xingqiu (Hydro), and Venti (Anemo) can help buff each other’s DMG parameters to insane levels. Bennett can provide Pyro Resonance to further increase Klee’s naturally-high DMG stat. On top of that, Bennett’s core kit alone buffs everyone else’s attack performance, letting them perform sub-DPS roles naturally.

On the other end, Xingqiu can unleash her Elemental Bursts that sync well with Klee’s. This will trigger Vaporize, which in turn buffs their DMG even more. Lastly, Venti’s crowd control specialization can give the other three room to maneuver and position their attacks properly.

Mona, Sucrose, Diona

Klee can tap into the core of her destructive potential with the right synergies, and a party with Mona (Hydro), Sucrose (Anemo), and Diona (Cryo) can do just the trick. At its core, this party build banks on Klee becoming a behemoth through proccing Vaporize and Melt reactions as often as possible.

Thanks to Mona and Sucrose’s crowd control potential, they can easily round up opponents for a good beating with Klee’s bombs. In addition, the two can raise Klee’s Elemental DMG to impressive scales, cementing Klee’s domination in the offense. Lastly, Diona’s defensive capabilities can constantly heal and shield Klee whenever necessary.

Bennett, Mona, Venti

Players who want to capitalize on reactions to boost Klee’s overall DMG can rely on good ol’ fashioned Vaporize to do the trick. This reaction is possible with a party of Bennett (Pyro), Mona (Hydro), and Venti (Anemo) to join Klee in her destructive potential. At its core, this plays on two synergies: first, Bennett’s natural Pyro Resonance with Klee will drastically improve her DMG. Meanwhile, Venti with the Viridescent Venerer will also rake up high DPS for Klee.

Second, Mona’s Vaporize will boost Klee’s DMG by as much as 1.5-percent. Granted, Vaporize isn’t as potent as Melt (with Cryo), but Vaporize still gets the job done. And despite the lack of potency compared to Melt, Mona’s short CDs allow Klee to spam Vaporize often.

Bennett, Xingqiu, Sucrose

Players who want to capitalize on an alternate Vaporize setup could do well with Bennett (Pyro), Xinqiu (Hydro) and Sucrose (Anemo). Bennett would still provide Klee with much-needed Pyro Resonance. However, Sucrose’s toolkit is a much more potent incentive when it comes to boosting Klee’s DMG output much further. With the Venerer Set, Sucrose can impose a 40-percent reduction to Pyro Resistances across enemies, which syncs well with Sucrose’s passives.

Xingqiu functions generally the same way, this time to replace Mona. Compared to Mona, Xingqiu’s toolkit does a better job at allowing Klee to proc Vaporize. And with his Elemental SKill, Xingqiu can give Klee much-needed sustain in extended encounters.

Bennett, Ganyu, Venti

Players who want to tap into a standard party composition can do wonders with Bennett (Pyro), Ganyu (Cryo), and Venti (Anemo). Klee can capitalize on this build when equipped with the Crimson Witch of Flames, which reduces the enemy’s Pyro Resistance by as much as 40-percent. This set syncs well whenever Klee triggers Pyro Swirl with Venti’s elemental skills, on top of Ganyu proccing the Melt reaction that doubles Pyro damage (even criticals!)

With this comp, Bennett immediately increases Klee’s basic DMG courtesy of their Pyro Resonance. Other than that, Bennett’s natural buffing kit can give the team a great DMG boost, cementing their DPS potential.
