Nothing is more motivating in Genshin Impact than pressing the wish button and waiting what seems to be eons for that wishing star to turn blue, purple or preferably gold. However, there is a cost for motivation in Genshin Impact and the currency for it is Primogems.
The fastest way to earn them is, of course, to spend real-life money. To even out the playing field a bit, however, the game offers you some Primogems for a bit of labor by doing World Quests.

With the advent of Genshin Impact's Inazuma update, the number of World Quests that give Primogems just increased by about a third more. It's essentially raining Primogems in that archipelago, along with the usual lightning storms. You would want to maximize your time and labor in acquiring these free Primogems and it just so happens that some quests with Primogem rewards are shorter and less difficult than others. Here's what to prioritize.
The Seventh Samurai
- Primogem Reward: 30
- Prerequisites: Tatara Tales: The Last Act
Inazuma is a place teeming with wayward samurai or ronin so naturally, the whole place is quite a busy hub of samurai-related quests. The developers also gave a nod to Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai movie in one of the quests. It's a quick one, you only need to help a filmmaker in Inazuma shoot a fighting scene.
The catch is that it's a fight to the death and the enemies you'll be fighting are bloodthirsty bandits. You'll also have to stay within the camera's shooting angles to produce the best results. There's little talking involved in this quest and not many errands to run, perfect for a quick top-up of Primogems.
Dreams of Sword Art
- Primogem Reward: 40
- Prerequisites: Complete Ritou Escape Plan
The Primogem reward here is a little higher compared to the usual World Quests. That means it's also slightly longer and more tedious. You'll need to do plenty of backtracking in this one. In one of the islands of Inazuma, you'll encounter a samurai who seems to be struggling with his past.

Before you get to help him, however, you'll have to duel him. It's an easy enough fight – just bring your best DPS carry and burst him down. After the fight though, he'll task you with retrieving some memorabilia in the other islands. You'll have to repeat this interaction three more times before getting your rewards.
Treatment on the Island
- Primogem Reward: 30
- Prerequisites: N/A
By now, your pockets are probably full of Naku Weed which is an Inazuma delicacy. You'll need a dozen of those for this quest. Head over to the Statue of the Seven near Higi Village and look for Yasumoto. He'll give you a World Quest that involves killing several samurai and bandit teams.
Before you get to the fighting part of the quest, you will need those 12 Naku Weeds that Yasumoto's going to ask for. If you don't have them, then picking them up is quick and easy enough as they're typically clustered together. After that, you'll have to face three waves of samurai.
Gourmet Supremos, Assemble!
- Primogem Reward: 20
- Prerequisites: Complete Ritou Escape Plan
Looking for that World Quest in Genshin Impact where you just talk to people, grease your elbows a bit, and then get rewarded? Here's one of the quickest ones. Look for a traveling group of chefs from Liyue in one of the sandbars connecting Ritou to Narukami Island to trigger this quest.

Xudong is the person you'll want to talk to. He and his companions are in need of exotic Inazuma ingredients for their craft. They'll just ask you to fetch a unique and zapped Sakura Blossom and then be one your way. It's a short request with little talking and rewards good Primogems.
The Gourmet Supremos: Of Shrines and Sakura
- Primogem Reward: 20
- Prerequisites: Gourmet Supremos, Assemble!
After completing Gourmet Supremos, Assemble!, you actually open up a chain of quests that are easily doable. Not all of them reward Primogems sadly and some require too much effort for a fraction of a wish. If you want to know which are worth your time, then this one is a good bet.
You don't have to do any talking at all. Just teleport to the Grand Narukami Shrine and walk over in front of the Sacre Sakura. You'll automatically complete the quest that way and be rewarded with 20 Primogems and some Mora.
The Gourmet Supremos: The Seashore Strider
- Primogem Reward: 20
- Prerequisites: The Gourmet Supremos: Of Shrines and Sakura
A lovely follow-up to the previous Gourmet Surpremos quest is the equally generous Seashore Strider. Don't expect to get the Primogems too easily in this one though – you'll need to do a bit more legwork in order to get the reward.

Again, you'll have to talk with the self-proclaimed Gourmet Supremos in Inazuma. This time around, they'll ask you for crabs. Not just any crabs, but carb sous vide slightly cooked with Electro zapping. Again, it involves a Thunder Sakura and some poor hapless crabs, all in the name of cuisine.
Hayashi of Tanuki in the Forest
- Primogem Reward: 30
- Prerequisites: Sacrificial Offering
A disclaimer is in order for this World Quest – you first have to complete the rather lengthy Sacrificial Offering World Quest. However, that one's almost necessary anyway as it can unlock some huge areas in the game. In any case, it also unlocked this short and cute quest.
It involves a trip to Chinju Forest. You'll begin by following some weird voices followed by the usual Hilichurl massacre. After that comes the quest's highlight: looking for some dancing raccoons in the middle of an ethereal forest. It's all worth it for 30 Primogems.
Hiromi's Watch
- Primogem Reward: 30
- Prerequisites: The Chi of Yore with Someone's Drifting Bottle in your inventory
If you're getting tired of all the overcast weather and hostile lightning in Inazuma after doing too many quests back to back, then Hiromi's Watch can offer you a breather. Sure, it still takes place primarily in Inazuma but you actually get a trip back to Liyue.

You'll need to talk to Hiromi. He's located West of the Tenshukaku in Inazuma City. After that, the quest will point you to Narukami City and then to Jueyun Karst and Mt. Hulao in Liyue. Afterward, you'll be back in Inazuma for 30 Primogems.
Tatara Tales Series
- Primogem Reward: 220 in total
- Prerequisites: N/A
Are you in the soft pity range and are looking for that one more wish but you need at least 160 Primogems? Try doing Tatara Tales. It's a series of quests that spans seven days. Each quest gives out a substantial reward of several dozens of Primogems.
Put together, they do require a lot of your time and effort but you don't have to finish all of them. Each quest in the Tatara Tales chain rewards small amounts of Primogems. As an added bonus, you get to know more about Inazuma. Look for Toranosuke or Miyuki at the Kujou Encampment to trigger this questline.
Temaria Game
- Primogem Reward: 20
- Prerequisites: Ritou Escape Plan
Last but not least, a game that you play with a kid from Inazuma. Temaria game is similar to hide-and-seek except with added steps. It starts with a kid named Kid Kujirai who hangs around in Byakko Plain. Walk up to him and he has something to share with you.
Afterward, you'll just have to search for the Temari before the timer runs out. It's just a ball that Kid Kujirai hid in random locations. If you're good enough, you don't have to waste too much time looking for a kid's ball. It's a simple enough task for 20 Primogems.
