In preparation for Genshin Impact's next update, players will want to save up their Wishes and Primogems to get the new characters that will be available. In the new banner, Raiden Shogun's right-hand lady will be up for grabs, the Eletro bow user Kujou Sara. To make sure that Sara is leveled as quickly as possible, players will also want to save up as many of her ascension materials as possible.
Kujou Sara's Level Ascension Materials
Similar to the materials that players will want to farm for Baal, Kujou Sara will most likely need the Electro gems. Vajrada Amethysts can be obtained by fighting the Electro Hypostasis located in Modstadt or by taking on Trouce Domains like Childe. Players will need all quality levels of these gems, including a sliver, fragments, chunks, and a few gemstones. Along with the Amethysts, players will also want to collect Dendrobium.

Dendrobium are red flowers located on two of the three main Inazuma islands. Here is a map with some of the locations of these.
The final leveling material that Genshin Impact players should look to start collecting are hilichurl masks. Kujou Sara's leveling will most likely need a large quantity of broken, stained, and ominous masks to get her all the way up to level 90.
Kujou Sara's Talent Ascension Materials
In order to upgrade Kujou Sara's talents, players will also need even more hilichurl masks. Since both her leveling and talent ascension materials will need them, players will have to hunt down a massive number of hilichurls. Thankfully, broken masks can also be crafted at the crafting benches in towns to become a stained mask, and stained masks can be combined to make ominous masks.
As for the scrolls needed for her talents, players will need those that are of Elegance which can be found in the Violet Court Domain on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. The three levels of these scrolls are called:
- Teachings of Elegance
- Guide to Elegance
- Philosophies of Elegance
Other Materials to Collect for Update 2.1
In order to level Sara to level 90, players will need around 6 million Mora. So farming Mora is an absolute must for players who are serious about leveling her as quickly as possible. Character EXP materials will also be needed to get them from level plateau to level plateau, like Hero's Wits, Adventurer's Experience, and Wanderer's Advice. If players focus on getting as much of these two items as possible, they'll be far above the curve when update 2.1 drops on September 1, 2021.
