Gigabyte is preparing to release new AMD B650 motherboards for its Ryzen 7000 series processors. These new motherboards will also be available in AMD’s mid-range AM5 socket, making them ideal for budget-minded users. To showcase these new products, AMD has invited representatives from ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, and Biostar to attend a press conference. Each PR team will receive 60 minutes to present an overview of the B650 series. The event is scheduled to take place on October 4th, so be sure to tune in!

The B650E motherboards are powered by AMD’s new chipset. They feature dual-channel memory, and support for up to 170W of power. They also feature PCIe 5.0, which delivers up to 24 lanes from the processor socket. AMD also says that the new B650E motherboards will be more affordable than AMD’s current AM5 models.

The new B650E and B650 motherboards will be available for purchase in October. Since these boards use only a single chipset die, they should help bring the cost of AMD’s AMD B650 processor down below $200. DDR5 prices will also come down in the coming months, which will make the B650 and B650E motherboards an affordable option for consumers. AMD expects to continue to support the AMD B650E and B650 series of processors for at least a few more years.
