Rockstar has finally lifted the lid on Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. After recently having announced a release date and shown actual in-game footage, Rockstar has also provided details on what sort of enhancements you can expect for the visuals, the controls, and more. Meanwhile, the trilogy will also be launching for the Switch, which is notable enough in and of itself, and if you do plan on getting it on Nintendo’s hybrid, you’ll need a solid chunk of storage space.

According to the trilogy’s eShop page, it’ll require 25.4 GB of storage space- which, by Switch standards, is definitely on the upper end of the range you usually see for games. Of course, 25.4 GB still isn’t a massive file size in the grand scheme of things by any means, but it does raise questions about how Rockstar will approach the physical version. Publishers very rarely use the 32 GB cart that Nintendo offers, owing to it being costlier, and often choose to enforce downloads even in physical releases. If Rockstar takes that path, GTA: The Trilogy might end up coming with a download code for one of the games (or maybe even more than one).

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 11, with a physical launch following on December 6. The San Andreas remaster will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch, while the GTA 3 remaster will come to PlayStation Now on in December. Read more on that through here.
