Between all the memes for Craig the Brute, reactions are somewhat mixed for Halo Infinite’s campaign reveal. Nevertheless, 343 Industries noted that this showcase was from an older build and there would be improvements over time. Multiplayer – which, contrary to rumors, is not delayed – will also be showcased in the coming months but some new details are available now.

In a recent blog post, the developer confirmed that the grappleshot and Drop Wall, along with the new weapons, will be available in multiplayer. However, they’re going to be pickups in maps as opposed to part of a default loadout. It’s not much but the developer is promising more information “soon.”

One important part to clarify is that despite two-player splitscreen making a return for the campaign, there won’t be four-player split-screen support. Jerry Hook, 343 Industries head of design, said on Twitter that four-player co-op will be online-only. It’s not the end of the world but should be noted before getting hyped.

Halo Infinite is out this holiday season for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. For more details on the weapons, exploration and so on, head here.

Hey everyone I saw some reports of campaign supporting 4 player Split screen for campaign and just want to correct. Halo Infinite will be supporting 2 player split screen and 4 player online co-op for campaign. Sorry about the confusion. #haloinfinte
