A team-up between Xbox and OPI has resulted not only in gamer themed nail polish but exclusive DLC for Halo and Forza.

Video game tie-ins with well known consumer brands are becoming increasingly common, but they’re usually for things like trainers or other apparel. Xbox though, has just announced a deal with nail polish maker OPI for its own unique colour collection.

There are 12 shades in total, all with cheesy Xbox related names, and in most cases available in GelColor, Infinite Shine, Nail Lacquer, and Powder Perfection.

If you’re not usually interested in what colour your fingernails are though there is an additional incentive, in the form of cosmetic DLC for Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5.

The DLC appears to be exclusive and there’s already images of a new armour set for Halo Infinite and what seems to be a unique car deco for Forza Horizon 5.

The collection is currently available via ULTA in the US, where you can get individual shades for around £8 and a four pack for the equivalent of £12.50.

It’s not listed anywhere in the UK yet but will be once it launches in February, with Amazon, and presumably the official OPI website, due to get them in stock.

The US site also already has them and describes exactly how to obtain the DLC, with both the Halo and Forza ones requiring at least a $20 (£15) purchase.

Finally, there’s a chance to win custom Xbox controllers in either Achievement Unlocked, Racing for Pinks or Can’t CTRL Me – which are apparently the ‘top trending hues’.

You’ll have to have follow the OPI Twitter, Instagram or TikTok accounts to be in with a chance though.
