It feels as if it’s been a very long wait, between the original reveal and a long delay, but just over one year later and here we are about to see the official release of Halo Infinite. Of course, as most know, there is the multiplayer beta currently running that people are already enjoying, but the full release is set to come next month. Now, we know that the game is ready to go.
As announced on the official Twitter, the game has now officially gone gold, meaning that it is in a completed state and ready to be printed to disc and shipped. In today’s world, that doesn’t quite mean the same thing as it once did as there will no doubt be many updates to come, but at the very least, it means that another last minute delay is unlikely. It’ll be the first time people get their hands on the campaign, which the company has been showing off recently. As a reminder, however, co-op and forge will not be available for quite some time.
Halo Infinite will launch on December 8th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
