Halo Infinite – Leaked Screenshots Show New Maps and Armour Customizations

Halo Infinite has been in the news a lot lately. The game’s launching this Fall, and its first multiplayer beta recently wrapped up, while several details on the game have also been leaking like a faucet of late. From campaign spoilers inadvertently being shared by 343 Industries themselves to mentions of a possible battle royale mode (which could supposedly be connected to the campaign), plenty of potential details about the highly anticipated shooter have come to light. Now, it seems some more multiplayer-related tidbits have leaked as well.

A Reddit user recently shared work-in-progress images of multiplayer maps from Halo Infinite. Two of these show outdoor maps, one of which is set during nighttime, while another shows a map that seems to be focused on indoor locations. A fourth image shows another look at a map that 343 Industries have previously spoken about- the Big Team Battle Behemoth. Meanwhile, another leaked image (shared by Windows Central) an arena location focused on verticality with clear inspirations from Halo: Reach’s Countdown.

Previously, 343 Industries has spoken about a few multiplayer maps in addition to these, those being Fragmentation (another Big Team Battle map), and the three maps that were included in the recent multiplayer technical preview- Bazaar, Recharge, and Live Fire. Counting those and these newly leaked maps, it seems Halo Infinite is going to launch with at least nine maps.

Meanwhile, over on Twitter, @PeeingSpartan also recently shared some new images that show a few armour customization options from the game. Some of these are about what you’d expect to see, but others are a bit wackier and more out-there, including even a snowman’s face. Take a look below.

It’s important to keep in mind with all of these leaks that this stuff is not exactly set in stone. This is clearly work-in-progress stuff being shown here, and Halo Infinite is still at least a few months away from launch, while it’s also entirely like that, with the seasonal post-launch content model that 343 Industries are adopting, some of this stuff might not make it into the game until some time after launch (while some might not even make it in at all).

Either way, Halo Infinite is going to get more betas before it releases, and 343 Industries have said that they’re going to be larger in scope than the first technical preview, so hopefully we’ll have a better idea of what to expect not long from now.

Halo Infinite is slated to launch for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC this Fall.
